The Rise School is a nonprofit Austin preschool whose mission is to provide the highest quality early childhood education for all children in an inclusive setting, where individualized learning techniques enable every child to achieve their maximum potential.
Summer came and went in the blink of an eye and school is back in session for all the kids in Austin. However, back to school isn’t rainbows and butterflies for all children, specifically those with special needs or those diagnosed with a delay or disability. That is why The Rise School, a 501(c)3 non-profit early childhood school, is dedicated to providing an inclusive setting where individualized learning techniques enable every child to achieve their maximum potential. At Rise, 50% of students have a developmental delay, such as Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or Autism. To see firsthand what this school this all about, watch the video above.
In order to continue to provide the resources for the children, The Rise School runs mainly on donations and fundraising. Each fall, The Rise School hosts an annual dinner gala and fundraiser that directly benefits the students. This year’s event, Travel the Vine, is a wonderful evening of fine wine, delicious food, entertainment, and a live and silent auction benefiting the kids. The event is on Friday, October 26 at Hotel Van Zandt from 5:30-11:00pm and will be attended by 400+ people.
