On Sunday, November 8, $1 from every dessert sold at The Salt Lick restaurant in Driftwood will be directly donated to United Way of Hays County in support of the victims of the recent Central Texas flooding.
By purchasing a dessert at The Salt Lick this Sunday, patrons will be directly contributing to the noble cause of this nonprofit organization. The Salt Lick has a variety of dessert options available for purchase, including homemade pecan pies, chocolate pecan pies, as well as blackberry and peach cobblers.
The original Salt Lick restaurant in Driftwood offers guests mouthwatering BBQ in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country and is just a 20-minute scenic drive from downtown Austin. The restaurant is BYOB, regularly features performances from local music acts on the outdoor patio, and is home to several other venues that are available for private and corporate event rentals, including Thurman’s Mansion and Pecan Grove.
