If you’re not a big fan of spending your entire day in the kitchen this Thanksgiving, several Austin restaurants are here to rescue you from the hassle. From home-cooked meals to savory side dishes several Austin restaurants are offering entire holiday feasts, seasonal side items and delicious desserts to take home.

Those looking to dine out on Thanksgiving Day can also enjoy a special multi-course meal during special dining hours at several restaurants around town. No matter your preferred way to enjoy the big holiday feast, check out our guide to the Best Thanksgiving special in Austin.

Aba

This year from Aba, locals can enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with a Mediterranean twist, with to-go meals for 2, 4, or 6 guests. Thanksgiving dinner costs $59.95 per person, plus tax and includes menu items like Pumpkin Hummus with house bread, Black Truffle Orzo, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Beef Tenderloin Kebab, and Crispy Chicken Thigh with Sauteed Greens & Butternut Squash.

 

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse

Fleming’s will be open from 11 a.m – 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and will be serving a special 3-course menu. Guests can opt to enjoy the traditional Herb-Roasted Turkey, or they can adventure beyond and choose a classic Filet Mignon or Prime Bone-In Ribeye instead. There will also be a 3-course children’s menu available for just $23 per child under 12.  (The meals are also available for curbside pickup and delivery.)  Pair your Thanksgiving meal with carefully-selected wines from the Fleming’s wine list, a craft cocktail, or opt for a seasonal drink.

 

CRU Wine Bar

Bring the family for a 3 course Thanksgiving tradition at CRÚ!  With a steaming basket of fresh baked bread for the table, each guest can choose their own favorites for each of the three courses ensuring a happy and satiated family.  Make your reservations early.  The dine-in feast is $55 for 3 courses, or $90 for two.

 

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille

This Thanksgiving, Perry’s will have dine-in and to-go specials for guests to celebrate with the Rare and Well Done experience. The premier steakhouse will feature a holiday dine-in menu from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 25 for $45 per person, which includes choice of Butternut Squash Soup or Honeycrisp Apple Salad with dried cherries, walnuts and maple syrup vinaigrette; Smoked Turkey Breast with pan gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, sausage and sage dressing, cranberry relish and Homemade Bread. For an additional $8, guests can order an individual serving of Pumpkin Cheesecake.

 

Hotel Van Zandt

Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt is pulling out all the stops this holiday season, as Austin’s premier boutique hospitality destination is decking the halls with specially-designed holiday guest packages, private dining spaces, and themed dinners at its famed Geraldine’s restaurant. Geraldine’s will kick off the holiday season by hosting “Friendsgiving from November 1 to December 30, with $1 from each sold benefitting No Kid Hungry.

 

Group Therapy at Hotel ZaZa Austin

This Thanksgiving, Group Therapy will offer a pre-fixe, four course menu from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.. For $75, diners can choose from a selection of delectable appetizers, soups and salads, entrees, and desserts. Menu highlights include the Surf N’ Turf Crostini Duo with braised beef short rib, whipped potato, beech mushroom demiglace, grated parmesan alongside herb butter shrimp, cheesy grits and grated parmesanSweet Corn & Poblano ChowderThe Feast with garlic brined turkey breast, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, classic stuffing, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce; and a Pecan Pie with salted caramel and whipped cream. Group Therapy will also serve its regular menus on Thanksgiving.

 

Second Bar + Kitchen

SBK is giving guests multiple ways to enjoy Thanksgiving with their loved ones. Enjoy a Family Feast on the second floor of Archer Hotel Austin for their first-ever seasonally-inspired traditional Thanksgiving Buffet menu will be served in our Grand Salon with carving stations, family-style starters, hot apple cider, and cinnamon donuts! The feast is $75 for adults and $24 for kids. Reservations can be made here.

 

TRACE

For Thanksgiving, TRACE, inside the W Hotel, will be offering a 3-Course Prix Fixe Thanksgiving dinner with a dessert.  Dinner is $72 and seatings are at 12noon, 3 pm & 6 pm.

 

TR Restaurant & Bar + Lounge at Lakeway Resort & Spa

For an upscale Thanksgiving meal in a serene lakefront atmosphere, visit TR Restaurant & Bar + Lounge. Reservations are available between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for lunch and 5 – 9 p.m. for dinner. For $65 a person, guests will have a choice of soup or salad, entrees and sweet temptations. Holiday standouts include Asparagus Couscous Salad with shaved asparagus, couscous, cranberries, arugula, red onion, celery, pecans and toasted cumin vinaigretteOver Roasted Tom Turkey with dark and white turkey meat, Southwest white jalapeño corn stuffing, golden potato puree, sauteed Brussel sprouts and fixings; and Warm Apple Pie Ala Mode with whipped cream, vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce.

Backspace (Anderson Ln)

Backspace is offering the traditional taste of Thanksgiving with their wood-fire roasted turkey with herb braise. Each turkey comes fully cooked — simply reheat and carve! Offering a 1/2 turkey for $55 or a full turkey for $110.

 

Fresa’s

This Thanksgiving, Austinites can enjoy a turkey meal with an al carbon twist from Fresa’s. They are offering to-go meals that serve between 4 and 10 people. The Roasted Turkey Breast Meal serves 4-6 people costs $185 plus tax, or 8-10 people for $285 plus tax. Meals include roasted turkey breast, chorizo stuffing, mac-n-cheese, green beans, carmel pumpkin pie, and much more!

 

Foxy’s Proper Pub

Foxy’s Proper Pub will celebrate Thanksgiving Day with $10 traditional turkey plates and $3 Wild Turkey bourbon gravy boats while supplies last. Just like at home, the meal will be offered as a buffet-style set up for dine-in only, and guests are encouraged to help decorate for Christmas after.

 

Emmer & Rye

Emmer & Rye will be offering dinner meal kits to include a six course meal featuring a combination of fully prepared dishes and dishes that require minimal cooking. Meal kits are $150 for 2 and can be pre-ordered online in the link here or by calling (512) 366-5530. All orders must be picked up on Wednesday, November 24th. The meal-kit for two comes with your choice of protein (Whole Roasted Heritage Chicken OR Smoked Lions Mane Mushroom) and multiple sides & desserts.

 

The Driskill

For Thanksgiving, the legendary downtown hotel will offer housemade 10 inch chocolate cakes from 1886 Cafe & Bakery. Each cake is available for $45 and locals can pre-order on Tock through November 18 and pick up Monday, November 22.

 

Perry’s Steakhouse

Perry’s to-go Thanksgiving menu is available to preorder beginning Nov. 18 for heat and eat with pickup scheduled on Nov. 23-25 or order ready to eat for pickup on Nov. 25. Takeout options include Perry’s Individual Thanksgiving Dinner for $45 per person or Family-Style Thanksgiving Dinner for $139 total (feeds four) with choice of family-style soup or salad, entrée with sides. Add 3-pound Encrusted Prime Rib for an additional $129, Pumpkin Cheesecake for four for an additional $20 or order 3-pound Encrusted Prime Rib à la carte (sides not included) $169. Kids’ Thanksgiving entrée plate with sides is also available for $15 for children ages 12 and under. Guests can make reservations or order and pay online for curbside pickup at perryssteakhouse.com.

 

Launderette

Locals can find holiday dishes from Roasted Bone-In Turkey Breast, Beef Tenderloin, Herbed Sourdough Stuffing, Gruyère Scalloped Potatoes to a Chocolate Pecan Tart and much more. The turkey breast meal package is $190, and the beef tenderloin is $230.

 

CRU Wine Bar

CRU is also offering 3 course Thanksgiving To Go packages which include Butternut Squash Bisque and Brussels Sprouts & Arugula Salad as starters, Roasted Turkey Breast with all the fixings as an entree and Pumpkin Cheesecake or Chocolate Mousse Cake for dessert.  Packages for two people are $90 or for four people are $175.

Rosedale Kitchen & Bar

Let Chef Poc and the Rosedale Kitchen and Bar Team cook your Thanksgiving Dinner paired with Pitmaster Quirino Silva of Longhorn Texas BBQ Oakwood Slow-Smoked Turkey Breasts and Whole Turkeys. Longhorn Texas BBQ brines turkeys for 24-Hours in Garlic, Rosemary, Thyme, Sage, Paprika, Brown Sugar and then Oakwood Slow-Smoked for a tender and juicy Turkey. Order them a la carte or pair them with family sharing favorites such as Apple Chorizo Cornbread Stuffing, Classic Creamed Corn, Broccoli Cheese Casserole, Salsa Macha Glazed Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potato Casserole, Cranberry Sauce and More. Lick Honest Ice Creams

Lick is relaunching its frozen take on the Thanksgiving classic, three fan-favorite ice cream pies. Pie lovers can select from Hazel’s Pumpkin, Caramel Apple, and vegan/gluten-free Chocolate Brownie Ice Cream Pie. Place an online order through Nov. 15th for in-store pickup Nov. 22nd – 24th. Pies are nine inches, yielding approximately eight servings, and cost $25 plus tax.

 

Goodstock by Nolan Ryan

Order everything from fully-cooked meats to seasonal delicacies online from November 4 to November 19 and pick-up in store until November 24. Goodstock by Nolan Ryan is offering traditional Thanksgiving favorites including fully cooked honey-glazed, spiral hams and whole, smoked turkeys with traditional or Cajun-style seasoning. Enjoy a spinach and mushroom quiche for breakfast, cranberry sauce from Round Rock Jelly & Co. and custom charcuterie boards from Casero Austin. Also enjoy a pie from Texas Pie Company.

Old Thousand

Both Old Thousand locations will have their Lucky Family Meal for pre-order for Thanksgiving. The Lucky Family Meal consists of Old Thousand classics like General Tso’s Chicken, Xiao Mian, Beef and Broccoli, Green Beans, Egg Rolls, and more. Old Thousand’s Lucky Family Meal feeds four and there’s a vegetarian option available if needed. Lucky Family Meal pre-ordering can be done by calling 737-222-6637 and can be picked up from either location the day before Thanksgiving. Menu is subject to change.

 

Simi Estiatorio

Simi Estiatorio’s crowd-favorite Baklava will be available by pre-order for pick up at the restaurant ahead of Thanksgiving. The delectably large filo pastries will be available in two pre-sliced package options: 5 pieces for $50 or 10 pieces for $100. Preorder November 17 – November 23, 12:00 – 10:00 pm.

 

 

Sazan Ramen

Sazan Ramen will keep feeling warm and cozy with their Sazan 10 Pack and Appetizer Trays. The Sazan 10 Pack costs $200 and consists of 10 bowls of your choice of ramen, two appetizer trays, water, and soda. For their appetizer trays choose between wings, fries, chashu don, and edamame ranging from $20 – $70. Pre-order the Sazan 10 Pack for all of your seasonal celebrations here.

 

Shortie’s Pizza

Why cook Thanksgiving when we can cook it for you? Choose between a half turkey or a whole turkey with all of the fixings! You can add on one of Chef Dennis’s delicious pumpkin pies. And don’t forget the spiked cider to help loosen up some of those family members you see once a year.

 

Second Bar + Kitchen

Second Bar + Kitchen is offering Heat + eat meals to-go. Pre-order your 3-course heat-and-eat feast to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. (Pajamas not included.) Add-ons include spins on classic holiday staples, kids’ plates and cocktail kits.Whole Pumpkin Pie Cheesecakes are also available. Meal kits must be purchased by Nov. 21 for pick up on Nov. 24. $95 for two.

 

Tacodeli

Tacodeli is offering their signature mole to-go! Their mole is available for pre-order for Thanksgiving to be served with tamales, turkey, or be the perfect addition to any Friendsgiving feast! Tacodeli’s mole comes in 16oz containers for $12.99. Pre-order their mole for holiday gatherings here, and you can pick it up on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

 

TLC

TLC is feeding the whole family this holiday season with their Holiday Family Meal Packs available for both Thanksgiving and Christmas! Their Family Meal packages consists of offerings like Honey-Sage Basted Turkey, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bone-In Ham, Andouille Cornbread Stuffing, Rosemary-Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Country Style Green Beans, Giblet Gravy, Citrus Vanilla Cranberry Sauce, White Chocolate-Peppermint Bark, Texas Pecan Pie and more. Both meal packs cost $299 and feed 8 – 10 people. Preordering is available online here.

 

Walton’s Fancy and Staple

Walton’s curated a special Holiday menu for both Thanksgiving and Christmas complete Thyme-Rubbed Airline Turkey, White Cheddar & Gruyere Mac and Cheese, Balsamic Brussels Sprouts with Crispy Prosciutto, handmade apple, pumpkin, pecan, and buttermilk pies, and more! Chicken Salad Shoppe

Chicken Salad Shoppe is treating everyone’s sweet tooth during the holidays with The Sixer. The Sixer consists of six ½ pound stuffed cookies of assorted flavors delivered with holiday lights in a clear acrylic box. Chicken Salad Shoppe also has party platters available feeding anywhere from 5 – 15 people that make the perfect addition to Friendsgiving or other festive celebrations. Smokey Mo’s BBQ

Smokey Mo’s guests can order online either a smoked turkey ($54.95) or an entire Thanksgiving feast ($144.95), both of which feed 8-10 people. Supplies are limited and sell out every year, so guests are encouraged to place their orders ASAP!

 

Buca di Beppo

Buca di Beppo is providing a Thanksgiving To-Go dinner with all of the fixings that customers can take home and enjoy on this “Turkey Day.” Pre-orders are now available. See full details below.

 

The Carillon

The Carillon is excited to offer a Thanksgiving to-go option again this year. Their Thanksgiving package is perfect for those who want to enjoy gourmet dishes and make prep as easy as possible! Dishes are ready to be warmed up (instructions included) and plated for the big meal. The Thanksgiving Feast at Home Package (suggested for 4 people) is $160 and includes 2 lbs with multiple sides and all the trimmings.

 

Local Foods

La Madeleine is taking the hassle out of the holidays and making it easy to enjoy the “joie de vivre,” or joy of life, with friends and family with its take-home or catered Holiday Feast! Now available for pre-order, la Madeleine’s Holiday Feast includes oven-roasted turkey breast, creamy wild mushroom sauce, red-skinned mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, cranberry apple chutney, cranberry apple stuffing and its iconic sea salt baguettes. The Holiday Feast take-home option feeds 4-6 or 8-10 people and the hot-catered option feeds 8-10 or 18-20. *Prices for the Holiday Feast vary from $60 to $240 depending on size and pick-up option.

 

Z’Tejas

Z’Tejas is offering a family-style Thanksgiving meal to-go! Sliced and deboned light and dark meat turkey, Poblano mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, fall mixed veggies, cranberry sauce and chipotle roasted turkey gravy is on the menu! This will feed 4 to 6 people and costs $100. Guests will have the option to add on a pumpkin cheesecake, ancho fudge pie for dessert or a gallon of margaritas. Guests are encouraged to preorder their meal for pick up on Nov. 23 or 24 from Z’Tejas located at 1110 W. 6th Street. The last day to place an order is Friday, November 19.
