10 Best Restaurants For Thanksgiving Dinner in Austin

This year’s Thanksgiving is going to be socially distant for most families in Austin, but there are several restaurants that are ready to serve you a delicious holiday dinner.  All restaurants will be following strict social distancing guidelines to maintain safe and healthy routines to protect their guests from COVID-19.

 

Goodall’s Kitchen

This year, Hotel Ella is offering Thanksgiving options to fit the times, together or apart. Reserve your spot for a decadently distanced feast in Goodall’s or set the table at home with a Thanksgiving Meal Kit to-go. This feast is available on Thursday, November 26th for dine-in or to-go from 11am-4:30pm, and features turkey, pie and all the trimmings!

 

 

Arlo Grey

Get with the Thanksgiving program or don’t at Arlo Grey in Austin.  In addition to the full menu being offered, Chef Kristen Kish has added her take on a few T-Day classics for a choose-your-own-adventure take on the holiday.

 

 

Caroline

Caroline will offer a feature Thanksgiving menu that features Green Chili & Turkey Enchiladas in addition to their regular Brunch and Dinner menus.  This Thanksgiving we’re featuring a Smoked Turkey entrée, Brisket Galette appetizer, and Pumpkin Mousse dessert.

 

 

The Peacock

The Peacock will be open for both in-restaurant dining, as well as take away, for those who want to bring the restaurant home for the holiday.  For those looking to dine at The Peacock, the a la carte menu will be available with additions of classic Thanksgiving dishes, as well as a special Thanksgiving menu with all the classic holiday dishes, for $38/person with reservations available on OpenTable.

 

 

Stella San Jac’s elevated Thanksgiving

Stella San Jac will feature an elevated holiday dinner with Fried Turkey with Natural Jus, Mashed Sweet Potato and Brulee Marshmallow, Boursin Creamed Green Beans and Crispy Shallot, Andouille and Jalapeno Brioche Stuffing, Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Butternut, Squash and Nueske Bacon, Lollo Rossa, Poached Pear, Cornbread Crouton, Candied Pecan and Cider Vinaigrette, finishing with Pumpkin Ice Cream Biscuits.  Dinner is only $55 per adult, $28 per child (under 3 eats free).  For reservations visit https://www.stellasanjac.com/thanksgiving.

 

 

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is offering their Thanksgiving menu starting at 11am for a 3-course menu, only $41.95 for adults and $14.95 for kids.  Celebrating at home? Allow them to prepare the talk of the table with a Take-Home Feast for 4, or opt for one of their classic Sides To Go.

 

 

Perry’s Steakhouse

Perry’s will open early at 11 AM. offering Thanksgiving dinner for $45 per person as well as a full Dinner Menu available.  Perry’s will also offer a family-style dinner for 4+ TO-GO for $139.

 

 

TRACE Austin

Beginning at 11am through 8pm, enjoy a Pre-Fix menu featuring locally sourced Thanksgiving Classics.  Join us for an afternoon of Turkey, Prime Rib, Whipped Sweet Potatoes and More!  $60 per person with optional $35 wine pairing.

 

Café No Sé at South Congress Hotel

Café No Sé will be open on Thanksgiving from 7am-7pm for reservations + walk-ins, featuring holiday specials like pumpkin pie french toast, turkey confit with rosemary focaccia stuffing, and brown butter chai and sweet potato ice creams.

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines

Sit back, relax and leave the cooking to the talented culinary team at Hyatt Lost Pines, in Bastrop, when you book an overnight stay at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines this Thanksgiving!  Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner delivered to your door when you stay in one of our spacious suites or coordinate a private family dining experience in one of our meeting rooms.  Guests can also enjoy a socially-distanced dining experience at Firewheel Café.  The Thanksgiving menu will feature family-style dishes with entrées of apple cider-brined turkey, maple-glazed ham, and pecan-smoked ribeye.  Side dishes include buttermilk mashed potatoes, traditional cornbread stuffing, homestyle macaroni and cheese, and desserts include traditional pumpkin and pecan pie.  The meal is $42 for adults, $21 for children between 6-12, and free for children 5 and younger.

New Orleans, LA - On October 22, 2024, I recently had an opportunity to attend the grand opening of Caesars New Orleans, marking the completion of a stunning $435 million transformation of the former Harrah’s New Orleans. It was an evening to remember, filled with excitement, luxury, and the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. The festivities began on Canal Street with an exhilarating ceremony led by Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg, President & COO Anthony Carano, and Caesars New Orleans General Manager Samir Mowad. The atmosphere was electric as they joined Caesar himself and an iconic New Orleans second-line band in a lively procession into the casino. It felt like the entire city had come out to celebrate, with Caesars New Orleans team members and Mayor LaToya Cantrell also joining the event to commemorate this historic occasion. Anthony Carano’s pride in introducing Caesars to New Orleans was palpable. “From local favorite Emeril Lagasse to our long-time partner, Chef Nobu, to the beautiful state-of-the-art Caesars Sportsbook, all-new rooms and gaming floor, and of course, our gorgeous new center bar, Octavia, Caesars New Orleans offers something for everyone. It’s a world-class resort in the heart of the Big Easy, and we can’t wait for our guests to experience it,” he said. The ceremony was a spectacle, kicking off with an iconic Mardi Gras float featuring Caesar and his court, and a dazzling firework show that lit up the New Orleans sky. The second-line band then led us revelers into the resort’s elegant center bar, Octavia, where we indulged in a “Taste of Caesars New Orleans.” Each bite from the six on-property restaurants was a delightful journey, capturing the essence of New Orleans’ rich culinary scene. Throughout the night, elemental entertainers, including the Saints Cheer Krewe, Mardi Gras Indians, Zulu Tramps, and showgirls, created an authentic and unforgettable Big Easy experience. Everywhere I turned, there was something new to marvel at, each performance more mesmerizing than the last.
