Taster’s Table Club, formerly called Tasting Table Club, was softly started in Austin, Texas in July of 2015. Co-Founders Max Kunik and Matt Wolski developed the concept to allow voracious, adventurous foodies a forum to sample the multitude of new eateries springing up in the city and tried and true greats.

The club has relaunched into 2016 with two new partners on their side. Beam Suntory will serve as the Taster Table’s Club official welcome cocktail liquor sponsor and Glazer’s will supply wine for any restaurants lacking a liquor license. Each month will feature a different liquor to be made into the signature welcome cocktail that members receive upon arrival.

2016 also will allow diners to choose from up to 10 participating restaurants each month. Dinner the evening of Feb. 16 will feature Austin standouts Emmer & Rye, Finn & Porter, Odd Duck, Botticelli’s and Contigo and a Basil Hayden’s welcome cocktail.

Fees have been restructured under the new launch.  Membership now ranges from $45/month to $60/month which include the  cost of the monthly dinner (and includes tax & tip ). The cost variance is contingent upon commitment times. A full year commitment is $45/month with an option to freeze up to three months. A six-month commitment is $50/month and a three-month commitment is $60/month. Occasionally, a second dinner will be be available to club members. This cost is not covered in the initial membership, but will be deeply discounted through the club. Premium dinner will also be offered an additional $15 more. Other changes include an affiliate program that offers a $5 credit of the referring account, in addition to offering a new member $5 off of their membership.

“The diversity of our culinary scene has amplified with lightning speed, in the past couple of years over 100 new restaurants have popped up,” says Kunik. “As exciting as this new edible playscape is, it can be daunting to branch out – both in terms of your wallet and your stamina. Our goal with Taster’s Table Club is to facilitate culinary exploration affordably.”
