In celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary, SXSW 2015 hosted the world premiere of the newly restored version of THE BREAKFAST CLUB.
1,300 fans watched the beloved John Hughes’ classic in a new pop of color on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the iconic Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX. Cast members Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy were also attendance for a special Q&A prior to the screening. Local elementary school children from the Barton Hills Choir serenaded the cast and audience with their rendition of “Don’t You (Forget About Me).”
THE BREAKFAST CLUB 30TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION is now available on Blu-ray with Digital HD & DVD from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and is also heading to select theaters nationwide for two nights only on March 26 and 31 presented by Fathom Events, BY Experience and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
