Uchiko alum returns to Austin as St. Philip Head Chef

St. Philip is excited to announce that Chef Page Pressley joins the team as Head Chef for the restaurant. After joining the Uchi team in 2011, Pressley was named Uchiko Chef de Cuisine in 2013 before leaving briefly in 2014 to oversee 40 restaurants as Starr Restaurants Corporate Executive Chef in Philadelphia before returning to the restaurant group to run the team at St. Philip.

Originally from Santa Fe, Pressley attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York City. Before joining Uchi Houston in 2011, Pressley managed kitchens at highly acclaimed fine-dining establishments including the praised Trattoria Nostrani in Santa Fe and The Bellagio’s Le Cirque in Las Vegas.

“I am thrilled to return to Texas and join the St. Philip team,” notes Pressley. “I am excited to continue to be challenged by the Uchi family in creating detailed and artistically prepared dishes.”
