Sala & Betty is one of the latest additions to the resurrection of Airport Blvd. The New American style menu features local and seasonal cuisine prepared from scratch, including a fantastic selection of gluten-free and vegetarian options. It’s a charming, casual restaurant that offers healthy, scratch-made meals with a focus on diners who prefer not to cook, perfect for someone like me.
At first glance you’ll probably immediately notice the drive-thru option, which admittedly threw me off when I initially arrived. But don’t worry, it is by no means any sort of cheap little fast food restaurant. Honestly I think it’s a great option for the type of diner looking for a little convenience, especially when weather conditions aren’t very favorable.
This is not a fancy uptown restaurant, but if you’re like me you may develop a little school-boy crush on the overall charm it has to offer. The menu and general appeal of Sala & Betty is attractive and engaging. It’s a great spot for a special Tinder date, or an impromptu dinner with your parents. It’s a comfortable spot for a no-frills lunch or dinner, with a smart-casual ambiance, perfect for guys like me that are trying to appear slightly more sophisticated than we actually are.
