Otoko, a twelve-seat Japanese restaurant at South Congress Hotel by Paul Qui and New Waterloo, will begin booking ticketed reservations online via Tock from Otoko email subscribers who will receive exclusive access to reservations on Friday, February 5th at 9 a.m. before they become available to the public at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 8th, for seating times in March.
The restaurant will offer early and late dinner seatings Wednesday through Saturday between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Online reservations can be made for parties of up to four guests. Larger groups can contact reservations@otokoaustin.com about hosting a private event.

Ticket prices begin at $150 for the multi-course omakase menu by Executive Chef Paul Qui and Head Chef Yoshi Okai, which will blend Tokyo-style sushi and Kyoto-style kaiseki. Based on availability and seasonality, featured ingredients will be selected by the chefs. Beverage pairing options will include beer ($75), wine ($75), sake ($75), non-alcoholic ($50), and reserve wines and premium sake ($100).

Guests are also invited to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail at Watertrade, the intimate new cocktail bar secluded in South Congress Hotel and next to Otoko, also from New Waterloo. Watertrade will be open to Otoko guests with public hours and more information available soon.

Reservations for Otoko will be released on a month-to-month basis. After the initial March allotment, each month’s reservations will open on the first of the month at 9 a.m. for the next month’s seatings at https://otokoaustin.com (e.g. on March 1, all April reservations will be made available).
