Pappadeaux Austin Turns 30

Since opening it’s doors in 1996 in Houston, French Quarter-inspired Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen has become the largest concept in one of the largest family-owned and operated restaurant companies in the United States with 36 locations across the United States. This October, they’re celebrating 30 years of serving the exciting flavors of the French Quarter.  In celebration of their anniversary, their thanking Austin guests with weekly specials, iconic dishes, and photo sharing contest. Just use their special hashtag #Pappadeaux30 for giveaways throughout the month of October.

 

 

  • Sunday and Monday: Half Price Gulf Coast Oysters $6.95 per Dozen
  • Tuesday and Wednesday: Half Price Seafood Platter $13.45
  • Thursday and Friday: Two 1-Pound Live Maine Lobsters $29.95

 

To get the party started, guests of legal age will be able to enjoy for a limited time only, a Cat-30 Hurricane, handcrafted specifically for the 30th birthday celebration. The iconic and colorful drink will include Flor de Caña seven-year-aged rum, house-made Fassionola syrup, fresh lime juice, and topped with soda and Hennessy V.S. It will be served in a traditional hurricane glass, decorated with a festive flair, while supplies last.

 

A birthday is not complete without a decadent dessert. Pappadeaux will feature a Bananas Foster Cheesecake, created for the 30th birthday celebration. The new dessert will include banana cream cheesecake and vanilla pound cake, caramelized bananas, warm Bananas Foster sauce with salted pecans & brown sugar crust.

 

Starting October 9, Pappadeaux will launch “Celebrate your Pappadeaux” giveaway contest found on pappadeaux.com/pappadeaux30/celebrate where fans can share a photo celebrating the restaurant’s birthday throughout the month of October for a chance to win a $150 gift card. At the end of October, 30 winners will be selected and gift cards will be awarded in November.

 

Pappadeaux also hosted a contest in August to search for the best memories experienced in the restaurant. Fans were asked to snap a photo or write in their favorite Pappadeaux memory from the past 30 years and share on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Pappadeaux selected 30 winners and awarded them with a $150 gift card.
