Memorial Day Cocktails with Ketel One Vodka

With Memorial Day just around the corner, I wanted to share some recipes on behalf of Ketel One Vodka to kick off your Memorial Day Weekend! What better way is there to ring in the summer season than with simple, refreshing cocktails?

Ketel One Vodka, made using only the finest European Winter Wheat, brings smoothness, sophistication and freshness to the spirit. These delicious, tasty and colorful cocktails will complement all Memorial Day celebrations. Violet’s Ketel is a simple and fruity cocktail, Ketel One Sage Advice is a perfect toast to summer and the Ketel One Oranje Fix is a tasty cocktail for your weekend barbeque or get together.

VIOLET’S KETEL

1 ½ oz. Ketel One® Vodka

½ oz. simple syrup

¼ oz. fresh lime juice

5 blackberries

4-5 tarragon leaves

Club soda

Muddle blackberries, tarragon leaves, simple syrup and lime juice in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add Ketel One Vodka and shake with ice. Double strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with a lavender sprig.

 

 

 

KETEL ONE SAGE ADVICE 

1 ½ oz. Ketel One Citroen®

5-7 sage leaves

½ oz. rich simple syrup

½ oz. fresh lemon juice

Ginger beer

Combine first four ingredients in a mixing glass. Shake well with ice and strain into a Mason jar filled with ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a sage leaf.

 

 

 

 

KETEL ONE ORANJE FIX 

1 oz. Ketel One Oranje®

½ oz. elderflower liqueur

4 kumquats (cut in half)

2 dashes orange bitters

½ oz. fresh lemon juice

3 oz. club soda

Muddle kumquats in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add Ketel One Oranje, elderflower liqueur, orange bitters and lemon juice and shake with ice. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with an orange slice.
