Austin based El Chile Group has announced the launch of Las Tortas ATX catering which will utilize Chef Alma Alcocer’s recipes, offering a convenient way to enjoy delicious, freshly-made dishes delivered for lunch, dinner or large gatherings.
The a la carte menu gives customers a variety of options to choose from, including snacks like queso blanco, nine options of made-to-order tortas, a Mexican-style salad, and two desserts including a banana bread pudding with cajeta sauce and a choco flan. On the beverage side, choose from limonada, mango agua fresca or house-made margarita mix as well as sodas.
The Torta Trays—available in chicken (chicken milanesa or grilled), carne asada (grilled chimichurri steak), cochinita (braised pork) or a combo—are perfect for gatherings and can serve up to eight people per tray. Orders for Torta Trays should be placed 24 hours in advance. As a nod to Hispanic Heritage Month, Las Tortas is offering 20% off customers’ first large catering order (14 people or more) from October 12th through November 12th.
Delivery is available Monday – Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. via Uber Eats, Seamless, Postmates and other delivery apps. New Orleans, LA - On October 22, 2024, I recently had an opportunity to attend the grand opening of Caesars New Orleans, marking the completion of a stunning $435 million transformation of the former Harrah’s New Orleans. It was an evening to remember, filled with excitement, luxury, and the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. The festivities began on Canal Street with an exhilarating ceremony led by Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg, President & COO Anthony Carano, and Caesars New Orleans General Manager Samir Mowad. The atmosphere was electric as they joined Caesar himself and an iconic New Orleans second-line band in a lively procession into the casino. It felt like the entire city had come out to celebrate, with Caesars New Orleans team members and Mayor LaToya Cantrell also joining the event to commemorate this historic occasion.
