Intero Welcomes Three Vancouver Chefs for a Special Dinner

Taster’s Table Club is excited to announce a special dining event “Texas Meats Canada” on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Vancouver is home to some of the best chef’s in the world, and Texas Meats Canada brings a heavy-hitting trio of Vancouver-based chefs to Austin’s highly lauded Intero restaurant for a fantastically delicious collaboration!

Chef Ian Thurwachter & Chocolatier Krystal Craig (Intero) will collaborate with Chef Tim Schulte (Bauhaus Restaurant), Chef Tushar Tondvalkar (Mumbai Local) and Chef Brockton Lane (celebrity personal chef) to prepare a five-course dinner focused on Texas-sourced meat.

Each course will feature an amuse bouche and meat dish, finished off with a wild boar bacon dessert. (Menu attached). There will be two seatings: 6 pm and 8:30 pm. Tickets are available to the general public for $80. TTC members may purchase tickets for a discounted rate of $70. Ticket price includes a welcome and post-dinner cocktail. Drink pairings will be available for an additional charge. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available.

In partnership with Meal On Wheels, each meal bought through Taster’s Table Club – Austin supplies a meal for a Central Texas resident in need. Additionally, 10% of the proceeds from Texas Meats Canada event will support Meals on Wheels Central Texas.

The standing Taster’s Table Club dinner will be held on May 21. Participating restaurants are the new American classic the Bonneville and Tarbouch’s exciting Lebanese cuisine.
