For diners that value a honest day of hard work, Industry in San Marcos is a haven for the after work happy hour, a quick bite before class, the catered lunch for your office, a casual dinner with friends, or your stiff drink after a long day on the job.
Hospitality consultant Harlan Scott and Cafe Josie Todd Havers and Cody Taylor have developed the concept with a focus on serving members of the service industry as well as hard working patrons in the San Marcos community, presenting a diverse, filling and healthy menu at a fair price. The San Marcos restaurant offers lunch, happy hour, dinner and Sunday brunch service starting at 11am on weekends.
The restaurant recently launched brunch menu features a mix of classic breakfast staples along with several creative delicious items developed by team. House favorites include Smoked Pork Hash with two fried eggs, charred sweet potatoes, onions, bell peppers and salsa; Porky’s Pancakes smoked pork, bacon, buttermilk pancakes, blackberry compote and bourbon maple syrup; Shrimp & Grits made with Hops & Grain beer batter, cheddar grits, honey chipotle and scallions; The BOB Sandwich made with smoked brisket on a bagel, fried egg, poblano cream cheese, and house BBQ sauce. For drinks go for the brunch favorite with $2 mimosas or a Paloma Exotica tequila, grapefruit lime and jalapeno.
Industry is open daily from 11 am – midnight, serving happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 pm – 6 pm, with reverse happy hour from 10:30 pm to midnight. Industry is located at 110 E Martin Luther King Dr., Suite 126, San Marcos, TX. For more information, visit industrytx.com.
