Independence Brewing releases one of its oldest and signature beers, Austin Amber, in cans. With a new design, it’s the same brew that everyone beer lovers to casual drinkers have come to know and love for over a decade (to some, it’s the city’s unofficial craft beer mascot). Austin Amber’s original design was inspired by Austin theaters, community spaces that celebrate the creativity of music, film, and art and the updated can design pays homage to this while illustrating the brewery’s deep ties to the capital city.
Austin Amber cans will be available throughout Austin this month as well as San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, North Texas, and Houston by early April. As founders Rob & Amy Cartwright like to say, “It’s a beer as laid back as Austin.”
