Hopdoddy Burger Bar Opens in East Austin

Austin’s original, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, will open its first East Austin location at the new Plaza Saltillo on October 21, 2020.  After 10 years in business, and seven difficult months during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hopdoddy is poised for the future thanks to its team and community of supporters.

 

The new location will offer top-notch burgers, hand-cut Chipperbec fries, handspun shakes, specialty cocktails, and local craft beer, available to-go or dine-in inside or on the restaurant’s patio.  To-go orders can be placed online at www.hopdoddy.com.

“Things are coming full circle as we approach our 10th anniversary, so we’re ready to open our next restaurant in Hopdoddy’s birthplace,” said Jeff Chandler, CEO of Hopdoddy Burger Bar. “We’re extremely thankful for the Hopdoddy fanatics who have supported us through the years and are excited to join the music, art and flavor-rich neighborhood of East Austin.”
