Fruit and Nut Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls have become a popular breakfast item because they are so versatile and can be created with a variety of ingredients you have in your kitchen. Not to mention, these satisfying bowls of deliciousness are also good for you. With a combination of nuts, seeds, fresh or dried fruit, and a healthy base such as any nut milk, soy milk, or coconut milk, you will be feeling strong, healthy, and energized.

Another reason smoothie bowls are so amazing is because they can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Breakfast, lunch, a quick snack, dessert… smoothie bowls are a quick and easy go-to to please your sweet tooth without sabotaging your waistline. Feel free to be as creative as you would like with your smoothie bowl!

Ingredients:

2 cups vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup coconut Kefir
1/2 cup rolled oats, soaked overnight
1 Tbsp chia seeds

Optional toppings:
1 Tbsp dried cranberries
1 Tbsp blueberries
1 Tbsp golden raspberries
1/4 cup granola
1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup slivered almonds

Preparation:

Soak the rolled oats overnight in 1 cup of vanilla almond milk. Combine the soaked oats, remaining 1 cup almond milk, coconut kefir, and chia seeds in a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a bowl. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy. It’s that easy and that delicious!
