Forthright is a new Austin restaurant that brings a fresh take on locally sourced and honest ingredients. The delectable culinary selections that are served cure the itch for savory holiday tastes with health and wellness in mind. The new Austin eatery is ready to provide Austinites, passing through professionals and curious foodies with the best this season.

Forthright’s kitchen is locally sourced and care goes into each and every menu item that is whipped up. The restaurant brings an exciting spin to casual dining.  The Dog Days of summer are over, and the kitchen is keeping up with the seasonal cool-down.  Imagine the refreshing taste of Dublin iced coffee, featuring Tullamore DEW Irish Whiskey, for your afternoon pick-me-up.  Combine that with a slice of their newest menu addition, “Pumpkin Toast,” and you have “fall”en into Autumn.  The puns and pumpkin abound. Sounds delicious, right?

Forthright’s modern but welcoming interior radiates a relaxed vibe, with new menu items that showcase temporary executions of classic dishes.. Careful curation goes into each dish offered to guests, with attention given to using quality ingredients. Here is a list of the freshly added fall menu items that will resonate with all fall loving palates.

 

New Menu Items Include:

Breakfast     

Pumpkin & Butternut Toast – Thick-cut toast, roasted butternut squash, pepitas, rosemary goat cheese

Brunch        

Chicken Benedict – House-made English muffin, poached eggs, hollandaise, crispy fried chicken

**Pumpkin & Butternut Toast also available for brunch


Lunch     

Super Food Bowl – Orange ginger quinoa, kale, shredded carrots, avocado, shaved beets, sprouts, chopped almonds

Pear and Blue Cheese Salad – Baby spinach, arugula, pears, blue cheese, toasted walnuts, honey-roasted garlic Dijon  vinaigrette
