Dollar Nights at Pacific Rim Sushi & Yakitori

Austin’s only yakitori lounge is dishing up a Tuesday night special that’s as sound as a dollar. Pacific Rim Sushi & Yakitori Lounge, the North Austin sports bar that’s home to a sea of sushi and sashimi, Japanese delicacies and yakitori specialties, is serving up a weekly Tuesday Night Dollar Menu beginning Nov. 10.

In addition to Pacific Rim’s extensive regularly featured dinner menu of charcoal-grilled, bamboo-skewered seafood, meat and vegetable yakitori, appetizers, entrées, sushi rolls and sashimi,Pacific Rim’s new Tuesday Night Dollar Menu consists of nearly 20 delectable specialties — all for just $1 each. Tuesday Night Dollar Menu highlights include Raw and Panko-Fried Oysters; Beef, Chicken, Vegetable, Tofu and Pork Skewers; a bevy of freshly prepared sushi, including Salmon, Tamago, Escolar, Avocado and Kani Sushi;Grilled Chicken Wings; savory Kani Fries; lightly battered Tempura Onion Rings; andCoconut and Tempura Shrimp.

But this tasty meal of Japanese morsels isn’t complete without an indulgent Sake Bomb orQuail Egg Shooter — a spicy, infused sake with ponzu, masago and chives — both offered Tuesday nights for only $1 each! Pacific Rim’s expansive bar menu of fanciful Polynesian cocktails; draft and bottled beers; red, white and sparkling wines; and sakes is also available.

Tuesday night guests can enjoy the new Dollar Menu delicacies while relaxing in Pacific Rim’s comfortable lounge, complete with plenty of large-screen televisions airing locals’ and visitors’ favorite sports events.

Co-owned and operated by Benny Leung, one of the proprietors of upscale sushi bar Maiko in downtown Austin, Pacific Rim Sushi & Yakitori Lounge is located at 9070 Research Blvd., suite 305, in North Austin. The only yakitori lounge in Austin, Pacific Rim offers an extensive menu of Japanese cuisine, including yakitori, tapas, sushi and sashimi, combinations, Japanese entrées and desserts, as well as a variety of beers, wines, sake and Polynesian cocktails.
