Desert Door is excited to kick off 2020 with two new event series taking place at the brand’s Driftwood distillery.

Happy Howlers

Happy Howlers is a special pet-themed focus happy hour every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting January 9 through March 26.  Pets are always welcome in the tasting room, but for these set times Desert Door will offer $2 Pupsicles for pets and $5 Ranch Waters and specialty draft cocktails for their human friends.  Additionally, pet owners can look forward to smaller crowds and more space to roam Desert Door’s tasting room and covered patio.  Additional vendors will be announced soon on social media. 

The Best Little Film Series in Texas

Desert Door is also introducing The Best Little Film Series in Texas, which features different films in their newly opened event space, Rack House, every other Friday from January 10 through February 21. The films will begin showing at 7:00 p.m. on a big screen with the West Texas landscape as the background.  Desert Door will offer $4 Ranch Waters and specially-created bartenders-choice cocktails, along with complimentary popcorn.  Each film will start with an introduction and brief history by neighbor, designer, and movie buff Zackary Stover.  Showings are free and all ages are welcome along with pets.  The full schedule of film showings can be found below.

• Dazed & Confused (January 24 at 7:00 p.m.)

• Last Picture Show (February 7 at 7:00 p.m.)

• Selena (February 21 at 7:00 p.m.)
