COVER 3 Hosting School Supply Drive And Student Car Wash

COVER 3 be will hosting at a back-to-school supply drive and car wash benefitting The Rainbow Room, a core program for local nonprofit Partnerships for Children (PFC).

The school supply drive will kick off Wednesday, August 1 and will run through Saturday, August 11. Donations can be dropped off at any Austin-area COVER 3 or COVER 2 restaurant. Additionally, on Saturday, August 11 from 1:30-4:30 p.m., COVER 3 Downtown will host a car wash in support of Teens4Teens, another vital PFC program. 100% of proceeds from the car wash will then be used to purchase school supplies for The Rainbow Room.

PFC is an Austin-based organization that provides resources to abused and neglected children in Central Texas, and The Rainbow Room is PFC’s 24/7 resource center where caseworkers can gather essential items for children in crisis. PFC is COVER 3’s local charity partner and the restaurant group.

School supplies needed for the back-to-school drive include, but are not limited to, the following items:

• Backpacks

• Folders

• Binders

• Notebook paper

• Pens

• Pencils

• Crayons

• Markers

• Colored pencils

• Scissors

• Dividers

• Glue and glue sticks

• Composition notebooks
