Cookbook Café located in the Austin Public Library at 710 W Cesar Chavez Street will reopen their eatery for dine-in and takeout on May 10, 2021 with new hours of operation from Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Cookbook will offer grab-and-go sandwiches, kid-friendly lunches, assorted pastries and full coffee service. Head Pastry Chef, Mary Catherine Curren, who also leads the pastry program at  Irene’s and 24 Diner is curating a seasonal bakery menu for Cookbook focused on fresh ingredients and customer favorites.

The Cookbook pastry team hosted holiday pastry pop-ups earlier in the year for Valentine’s Day and Easter, offering customers assorted, themed treats and familiar favorites like Irene’s famous strawberry cake.
