La Corsha Hospitality Group announced today that the highly anticipated Boiler Nine Bar + Grill will open to the public on July 5th at 5 p.m. The 10,000+-square-foot, four-story restaurant is the only public use space located in the historic Seaholm Power Plant. Guests can expect to see a woodfire-centered menu that is very dynamic and frequently changing.

Boiler Nine + Grill features three distinct concepts including an open kitchen with a wood-fired grill, Deck Nine Observatory Bar – a rooftop bar that gives expansive views of the city, and The Boiler Room – a subterranean drinking den located on the lowest level near the original boiler room.

“The majority of Boiler Nine Bar + Grill’s menu items will have a strong focus on utilizing different types of wood and the flavors they impart on meats, vegetables, seafood and more,” says Executive Chef, Jason Stude. “In addition to providing a unique and delicious dining experience for our guests, we wanted to give a nod to what the power plant once was.”

Director of Beverage + Bars Jason Stevens, has curated cocktail program highlighting the unique style and feel of each concept. The Boiler Room will feature cocktails from the ‘60s and ‘70s and he will launch a frozen drink menu on Deck Nine for the summer. All three concepts will offer a curated wine list designed by Director of Wine, Paula Rester and will feature newer and funky varietals that are all under $90.

Private dining is available on the West Patio and loft area. Boiler Nine Bar + Grill is located at 800 West Cesar Chavez Street in the Seaholm Power Plant. It is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., Deck Nine is open from 4 p.m. – 1 a.m. daily, The Boiler Room is open 4 p.m. – 1 a.m. everyday except Sunday. Brunch will be served from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sundays.
