After months of working from home, the monotony of Zoom meetings and long days in quarantine with our dogs and kids might starting to take its toll on our sanity. Prior to the days of the Coronavirus outbreak,a working lunch has always offered the chance for us to connect with colleagues, clients, and friends in person while dining at some of Austin’s best restaurants.

 

Now that some of us are starting to get back out and about in public, it’s time to take advantage of the excellent discounted lunch rates offered at local restaurants in the Austin community.

 

Juliet

1500 Barton Springs Rd | Whether you’re lunching solo, or setting up shop on a patio with co-workers, Juliet Italian Kitchen is the perfect place to mix up your routine. Known as one of the best patios in Austin, and set back from Barton Springs Road for a peaceful workspace, Juliet’s outdoor space has distanced tables with fast and reliable WiFi. Plus, the prix fixe power lunch menu features something for any mood whether you’re looking for a lighter salad or a hearty bowl of pasta.

 

 

The Carillon

1900 University Ave | The Carillon, at the AT&T Conference Center & Hotel, has recently launched a new table d’hôte lunch menu that serves as a great option for those looking for an amazing lunch deal in the Downtown Austin area.  The menu has a few items that rotate Monday through Friday and allows guests to choose a salad, entrée, and dessert for $15.  View the full menu here.

 

 

Launderette

2115 Holly St | The East Austin café has re-opened for lunch service on Fridays, available from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and will include favorites like the Plancha Burger and the Fried Chicken Sammie.  In addition, guests that show their “I Voted” sticker during lunch on the next three Fridays can enjoy a draft beer on the house through Oct 30th.

 

Bakery Lorraine
