It’s the final full month of the Summer, the kids are about to go back to school and we’re closing out the season with a few of our favorite brunch spots in Austin to fulfill those Sunday-funday hunger pains.
Brunch is undoubtedly an institution in Austin, but no one wants to ruin their Sunday-funday brunch experience with tasteless food or watered down mimosas, so we’ve selected our five favorite spots in town perfect to close out the month of August.

Chef Jacob Weaver at Juliet Ristorante has mastered the art of Italian brunching in Austin with his inspired menu. Mixing traditional Italian dishes with some basic brunch necessities, Chef Weaver and his team hase created a tasty guide to kick-off your Sunday-Funday at Juliet.
Juliet has a variety of classic brunch headliners on the menu, including Steak & Eggs and Eggs Florentine, both made with an Italian twist. Take a trip to classic Italy and order the Brunch Risotto, Genovese Pizza or Rigatoni Pomodoro.

Chicon introduced Sunday brunch on last month and the final menu is attached. Sunday Brunch features pastries, sharable main plates, and a la carte options. Standouts include Hot Chicken made with New York sour pickles, dill créme fraîche, with a Sea Island pea salad ($16), The Elvis made with pork belly, bourbon bananas, peanut butter mousse, brioche, and whipped coconut cream ($16), the Chicken Sausage Hash with fingerling potatoes, grilled red onions, tomato vinaigrette, and a fried egg ($15) and the Whipped Feta Benedict with an English muffin, whipped feta, pickled green tomato, and herbs ($14).

Famous for its all day breakfast and brunch and boozy breakfast cocktails, Snooze A.M. Eatery focuses on serving a great product by including local purveyors like Mill King Dairy, El Milagro, Vital Farms, 44 Acre Ranch and more. Farm-to-Table will be creating a custom jam for the restaurant showcasing peaches from Fredericksburg and strawberries from Poteet based on seasonal availability.
Menu highlights include the signature Chilaquiles Benedict and Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes and with options for a pancake flight. Eggs benedict lovers no longer have to choose – Snooze offers a Pick Two option for any two benedicts on the menu. Boozy favorites include the all-encompassing and very Snoozey breakfast cocktail Violet Beauregaede and four options of Bloody Mary’s including the Bangkok Bloody and more.
Choose from baked oysters with tarragon, mornay and breadcrumbs; or the ever changing raw choices like Beau Soleil, French Kiss and Sex on the Bays. A daily selection of pokés and ceviches will keep you cool all summer long. Monger’s weekend brunch favorites include the Low Country Benedict and the Buttermilk Oyster Chilequiles.

If you’re looking to soak all of your lingering party buzz from the weekend, head over to The Park at the Domain or South Austin, where guests can choose from several brunch specials including Juanito’s Chicken Chilaquiles, Chicken & French Toast, $5 Sangria Fizzes and $14 premium pitchers.
