A new batch of bakers, including Austin native Cliff Butler, will compete to create spooky sweets on the new season of Halloween Baking Championship.
Cliff Butler caught the baking bug in culinary school when he attended Le Cordon Bleu (the longest running culinary school in Austin) and after graduating began his career at the iconic Green Pastures. Butler now has over 30 years of experience and is the Pastry Chef at Dobie Twenty21 Student Spaces, the only private dorm in Austin that is a part of the UT campus, where he serves 1,000 students on a daily basis. Butler can’t wait to represent Austin and share his passion of baking with Food Network viewers!
Comedian John Henson hosts, as the contestants’ baking abilities and imaginations are put to the test in two rounds of difficult confectionary challenges, from trick-or-treat candy-filled cookies to scream puffs (a scary take on the traditional cream puff), and from glow-in-the-dark desserts to Jack-O-Lantern Cakes. The new season of Halloween Baking Championship premieres Monday, September 25th at 8pm CT.
