Austin Restaurants & Bars Offering Cocktail, Beer and Wine Takeout

Amid to the world wide emergency response to the COVID-19 virus, every restaurant, bar and movie theater has been ordered closed to in-house dining.  Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently issued a brand new waiver that will allow Austin bars and restaurants to offer the delivery of alcohol, wine, beer and cocktail beverages to be ordered with the purchase of food orders.

 

The following local restaurants and bars are currently offering alcohol, wine and cocktail kits for delivery in Austin:

 

 

CENTRAL & DOWNTOWN AUSTIN

 

Vamonos

Offering margaritas and cold Mexican beer for curbside pickup and delivery. Visit the Vamonos website or call 512.474.2029 to place an order.

 

Rosedale Kitchen and Bar

Offering bottled wine with curbside meals only (beer coming soon!). Call 512-729-0052 for today’s selection.

 

34th Street Cafe

Offering beer and wine for pick up as well as their full menu.

 

L’Oca d’Oro

Offering beer & wine and now cocktails to go! Pre-Pay & Pick Up outside for contactless takeout. Call (737) 212-1876.  Hours: Sunday-Thursday 5pm – 8pm & Friday-Saturday 5pm – 9pm.

 

Olive & June

Offering sparkling, red and white wines for $20 and premium wines for $25 along with beer and a full bar menu. Olive & June curbside pickup and delivery is available by ordering online.

 

Fonda San Miguel

The curbside menu at Fonda San Miguel includes signature dishes like the Calabacitas Rellenas and the Cochinita Pibil, as well as the FSM Margarita Kit (serves 6) for $35 which includes a 375ml bottle of Dulce Vida Silver, Fonda margarita mix, chips and salsa. The curbside menu is offered from 3-7pm everyday,.

 

Vamonos

Vamonos Prickly Pear frozen margaritas are available to-go Airport Boulevard’s  go-to stop for tex-mex favorites offers a variety of family meals for curbside pickup. For delivery, visit Favor, DoorDash, UberEats and GrubHub. everyday from 11am-8pm.

 

Twin Liquors

Twin Liquors is bolstering its in-store pick-up services for e-commerce customers across Texas stores in an effort to better keep patrons and staff safe.  Providing a way for customers to conveniently shop, customers can browse and shop Twin Liquors’ expansive selection of wine and spirits for in-store pick up through their website (https://twinliquors.com).  The Twin Liquors app, available to download on iOS and Android app stores.

 

McGuire Moorman Hospitality Restaurants

Now offering curbside beer and wine available at locations serving our favorite bottles and cans from Raventos, Shacksberry and local Live Oak!  Check each menu linked below for their full list of offerings.

 

Second Bar + Kitchen Downtown

Offering cocktail kits, wine by the bottle, ades and iced teas by the quart, beer and other non-alcoholic beverages available by calling 512-827-2750.  Beverage menu HERE.

 

TenTen

Offering bottles of wine, sake, and beer with cocktail kits to build-your-own TenTen signature cocktail.  Starting Saturday, Ten Ten’s Nova Kitchen – will be giving 100% of profits back to their out-of-work staff.

 

Juliet

Despite sheltering in place, spring is here and all signs are pointing to spritz season. Since we can’t gather with friends on patios, Juliet Italian Kitchen is bringing cocktail hour directly to your door with its new DIY Aperol spritz kits.  Each kit includes ingredients for five drinks, garnishes, aperol spritz swag and instructions on how to build the perfect spritz.  Kits may be ordered for takeout or delivery by calling Juliet at (512) 479-1800.

 

El Arroyo

Prohibition Creamery

Laura and the team at the creamery are offering their full boozy ice cream menu to-go and for pick-up or delivery, including boozy milkshakes daily from 2pm – 11pm.

 

Nickel City

Nickel City has several different DIY cocktails every day like the paloma, famous frozen Irish coffee, and Bees Knees. All proceeds go to staff!

 

Drop Kick

Drop Kick is offering to-go items for curbside pickup starting Wednesday, March 18.  Now offering alcoholic beverages including beer by the can for $3, wine by the bottle for $15 to $25, as well as margaritas, a Vodka lime cucumber cocktail, their Pimmlet cocktail with aviation, pimm’s no. 1, cucumber and mint plus a rotating drink.

 

The Brewer’s Table

Offering food takeout as well as to-go beer.  The menu includes multiple options as well as family-style dining ,bringing back our favorite – “feasts” selections including garden, gulf and ranch options.  Feasts serve  up to 4 and comes with hearth bread, two sides, and two free kids’ meals.  Beer to go  with 15% off to-go crowlers with food purchase to order via Phone, Grubhub, DoorDash, and Postmates. Eastciders

For fellow currently unemployed bartenders and servers from the amazing ATX service industry, Austin Eastciders is paying the gratitude forward and offering complimentary six-packs (limit one per person*). Güero’s Taco Bar

The Meteor Cafe

The Meteor is offering beer and wine to go for 40% off until further notice! There’s an extensive list of natural wines available and everything is eligible for free deliver via Favor.

 

Mattie’s

Mattie’s is offering curbside pick-up beginning Thursday, March 19 available from 12 to 8 p.m.  They’re now offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to go, must be ordered with food. Includes cocktail kits and iced teas, cold brew lattes and lemonades by the quart.  beverage menu HERE.

 

Salt Lick Cellars

Treaty Oak Distillery

Treaty Oak Whiskey and Waterloo Gin are offering online spirits ordering and delivery (for those 21+). Click here for links to purchase Treaty Oak Whiskey and Waterloo Gin.  Alice’s Restaurant at Treaty Oak Distilling will be offering a to-go menu daily from 12PM-7PM, beginning today. The menu will consist of BBQ, take-and-bake meals and a wide range of beers, wines and cocktail kits. To order, consumers can download the Toast Takeout App, set up a profile and search for Treaty Oak Distilling.  To-go orders (food and beverages) can be delivered to guests’ vehicles, or they can come to the open-air Rickhouse to pick their orders up. Upon receipt of the to-go order via the Toast Takeout App, a Treaty Oak employee will call or text to provide instructions.

 

Jester King Brewery

Ranked fourth best small brewery in the world and an Austin favorite, is one local business offering food, beer and wine for pick up — from 12-8 pm, 7 days a week.

 

Desert Door Distillery

Desert Door has added making hand sanitizer produced according to World Health Organization (WHO) and FDA standards to part for their daily activities as the world faces the uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis. The Driftwood, Texas, sotol distillery began production this week and will have over 20,000 8 oz bottles free of charge to the public soon. The hand sanitizer is made with 80% alcohol as the active ingredient.

 

Milam & Greene Whiskey

The distillery is taking necessary precautions and now offering curbside bottle pickup. Call ahead at (830) 833-3033 and ask for Brenda to place a curbside order.

 

Fall Creek Vineyards

To continue to provide Texans with the wine they love, Fall Creek Vineyards is offering specials for “Keep Sipping with Free Shipping” (6-btl min) for online shopping to have wine delivered directly to your door and Curb-side Pick-up (2 bottle minimum)  at Fall Creek Vineyards Driftwood across from the Salt Lick, and the winery in Tow, Texas.

 

Ski Shores Café

Now delivers a little bit of that lakeside vibe directly to your home. Each Saturday and Sunday from 12-2 pm and 5-7 pm providing home delivery of a full menu, beer, wine and canned cocktails to the Riverplace, Ski Shores and Greenshores neighborhoods. Slate Mill Wine Collective

The winery is now offering curbside pickup of wine and snacks to go.  This includes picnic packages of meats, cheeses, crackers.  Customers can place an order in advance by phone or by placing order online and drop by an hour later to pick it up.  For residents of Dripping Springs, Fredericksburg, Johnson City, Kerrville, North San Antonio, Central Austin, South Austin, they are bring the wine directly to customers. Slate Mill Wine Collective offering home delivery on Mondays and Thursdays with a minimum order of $50.

 

Jester King Brewery

New Orleans, LA - On October 22, 2024, I recently had an opportunity to attend the grand opening of Caesars New Orleans, marking the completion of a stunning $435 million transformation of the former Harrah’s New Orleans. It was an evening to remember, filled with excitement, luxury, and the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. The festivities began on Canal Street with an exhilarating ceremony led by Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg, President & COO Anthony Carano, and Caesars New Orleans General Manager Samir Mowad. The atmosphere was electric as they joined Caesar himself and an iconic New Orleans second-line band in a lively procession into the casino. It felt like the entire city had come out to celebrate, with Caesars New Orleans team members and Mayor LaToya Cantrell also joining the event to commemorate this historic occasion.
