The Austin Mac and Cheese Festival is now a reality! Among the endless number of side dishes stands one that is distinctively American, incredibly versatile and unapologetically the best in the world. Whether you prefer eating it with a holiday dinner or consider it to be in its own food group, nearly everyone has a love affair with Mac and Cheese.
A childhood favorite that only continues to grow in complexity and admiration throughout one’s life, Mac & Cheese continues its reign as the heavyweight champion of savory indulgence – and we’re celebrating it in true Austin fashion by throwing a festival.
Join us on November 13th as we launch our first annual Austin Mac and Cheese Festival where we’ve invited some of Austin’s best chefs and eateries will battle it out to see who truly has the best mac & cheese in Austin. Attendees will have the chance to vote on their favorite selections in the ultimate Mac & Cheese showdown!
The festival is scheduled this coming Sunday, Nov. 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Historic Scoot Inn located at 1308 E. 4th St.
Tickets are officially SOLD OUT! Stay tuned for details on next year’s festival!
