Austin Food + Wine Festival has announced their lineup of food, lifestyle, wine & spirit partners at the Grand Taste, presented by Bank of America and the dynamic selection of interactive experiences at the festival, April 27-29.
Located on festival grounds at Auditorium Shores and spanning across 4 acres, the Austin Food + Wine Festival’s Grand Taste offers a prime location for attendees to sip, savor, mix and mingle their way through 150 of Austin’s and the country’s top food, beverage and wine artisans. The Grand Taste will be open on Saturday, April 28, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and entrance is included in both All-In and Weekender Tickets.
This year’s food and lifestyle purveyors scheduled to attend the Grand Taste include: 1934 BBQ; Barbecue Wife; Barritts Ginger Beer; Be Mixed Cocktail Mixer; Cayman Islands; Chameleon Cold Brew; City Hall Bistro; Cuvee Coffee; DelGrosso Foods; Fairmont Hotel’s Garrison Grill; Hammer Stahl; High Brew Coffee; Hudson Meats; Jcoco Chocolate; Kerrygold; Mahatma Rice; Noon Mediterranean; Olive + M; Renaissance Hotel; Shade Tree Lemonade; Skull and Cakebones; Stella San Jac; Caroline’s; Swamp Dragon Hot Sauce; Tree Hive; and True Food Kitchen. Festivalgoers will also have the opportunity to sample over 50 wines, spirits and beers from across the globe in the Grand Taste, including: 1000 Stories; 7 Moons; 9 Banded Whiskey; August Wine Group; Austin Eastciders and many more.
Throughout the weekend, the festival will offer attendees a variety of interactive culinary, beverage and lifestyle experiences around the park. Celebrate great food and great wine in the Grand Taste with Bank of America. Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to choose a local charity and give back to the greater Austin community while enjoying many of the flavors of the festival while learning expert tips to help enhance their experience.

Stop by the Crimson and Malene Wines Airstream to taste the newest release on tap, the 2017 Malene Rosé, as well as Chamisal Vineyard’s Stainless Chardonnay, in the style and comfort of a vintage 1969 Airstream.
Join H-E-B In the Kitchen with the 4J’s – chefs Jonathan Waxman, Jimmy Bradley, Joey Campanaro & Jason Giagrande for modern takes on classic dishes, delicious wines and 4J coffee. VisitHendrick’s to experience The World’s Most Utterly Inefficient Cocktail Bar. Handcrafted from three stories high, enjoy the show as cocktails are shaken, strained and poured each step of the way from Hendrick’s marvelous, but most utterly inefficient cocktail bar.

New Orleans, LA - On October 22, 2024, I recently had an opportunity to attend the grand opening of Caesars New Orleans, marking the completion of a stunning $435 million transformation of the former Harrah’s New Orleans. It was an evening to remember, filled with excitement, luxury, and the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. The festivities began on Canal Street with an exhilarating ceremony led by Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg, President & COO Anthony Carano, and Caesars New Orleans General Manager Samir Mowad. The atmosphere was electric as they joined Caesar himself and an iconic New Orleans second-line band in a lively procession into the casino. It felt like the entire city had come out to celebrate, with Caesars New Orleans team members and Mayor LaToya Cantrell also joining the event to commemorate this historic occasion. Anthony Carano’s pride in introducing Caesars to New Orleans was palpable. “From local favorite Emeril Lagasse to our long-time partner, Chef Nobu, to the beautiful state-of-the-art Caesars Sportsbook, all-new rooms and gaming floor, and of course, our gorgeous new center bar, Octavia, Caesars New Orleans offers something for everyone. It’s a world-class resort in the heart of the Big Easy, and we can’t wait for our guests to experience it,” he said. The ceremony was a spectacle, kicking off with an iconic Mardi Gras float featuring Caesar and his court, and a dazzling firework show that lit up the New Orleans sky. The second-line band then led us revelers into the resort’s elegant center bar, Octavia, where we indulged in a “Taste of Caesars New Orleans.” Each bite from the six on-property restaurants was a delightful journey, capturing the essence of New Orleans’ rich culinary scene. Throughout the night, elemental entertainers, including the Saints Cheer Krewe, Mardi Gras Indians, Zulu Tramps, and showgirls, created an authentic and unforgettable Big Easy experience. Everywhere I turned, there was something new to marvel at, each performance more mesmerizing than the last.
