Austin Food + Wine Festival Announces Chef Showcase Schedule

The Austin Food + Wine Festival has announced the Chef Showcase schedule for the sixth annual festival, April 28-30, 2017https://www.austinfoodandwinefestival.com featuring a dynamic roster of more than 40 of Texas’ best chefs serving samples of their signature dishes to festivalgoers in the Grand Taste Pavilion.

On Saturday, April 29, Chef Showcase participants are scheduled to include: Joe Anguiano (VOX Table); Jeff Balfour (Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery); Stephen Bonin (Geraldine’s); John Brand (Supper at Hotel Emma); Austin Ewald (Grizzelda’s); Albert Gonzalez (Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile); Lance Kirkpatrick (Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew); Mia Li (Kuneho); Geronimo Lopez (Botika); Brian Moses (Olive & June); Josh Neises (Lonesome Dove); David Norman (Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden); Michael Paley (Central Standard); Amanda Rockman (South Congress Hotel); Eric Silverstein (The Peached Tortilla); Anthony Sobotik (Lick Honest Ice Creams); Mark Sparacino (Sophia’s); George Thomas (Unit-D Pizzeria); Jacob Weaver (Juliet Ristorante); Martin Wilda (Sway); and Kevin Williamson (Ranch 616).

 

 

 

On Sunday, April 30the Chef Showcase will feature: John Bates & Brandon Martinez (Noble Sandwich Co.); Michael Castillo (Uchi); Taylor Chambers (Justine’s Brasserie); Kazu Fukumoto (Fukumoto: Sushi and Yakitori Izakaya); Daniela Herrera (Counter 3. FIVE. VII); James Holmes (Lucy’s Fried Chicken); Zach Hunter (The Brewer’s Table); Clinton Kendall (East Side King); Nathan Lemley (Parkside); Rick Lopez (La Condesa); Harold Marmulstein (Salty Sow); Ji Peng Chen (Wu Chow); James Robert (Fixe); Marco Silvestrini (Dolce Neve); Eddis Solis (Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Q); Philip Speer (Bonhomie); Jim Tripi (Eberly); Carmen Valera (Tamale House East); Kevin Williamson (Ranch 616); Nicholas Yanes (Juniper); and Abby Yates (NO VA Kitchen & Bar).

The All-In Ticket

$625/per person and includes Saturday and Sunday Festival access; over 40 culinary demos; beer, wine and cocktail tasting sessions; access to the Fire Pits; all-day access to the Grand Taste Pavilion, including the Chef Showcase; a special Sunday Gospel Brunch by The Warrior Gospel Band; Tim Love’s Hands-On Grilling Demo access for Saturday or Sunday; and entrance to evening events, including Friday night’s Lone Star Nights and Saturday night’s Rock Your Taco
