Austin Film Festival’s Film & Food Party Lineup

The evening will be hosted by writer, director and producer, Ed Solomon, who is known for his work on hit franchise films including Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Men in Black.

Guests will enjoy flowing cocktails and sample inventive cuisine from some of Austin’s most notable chefs, with participating restaurants including:

Additionally, the event will feature live and silent auctions showcasing premier luxury items, trips, and experiences. Packages include a private wine class for up to 20 participants hosted by Total Wine & More, a trip to Sea World with a hotel stay at Omni La Mansion del Rio Hotel in San Antonio, date nights in Austin with stays at the Driskill and InterContinental Stephan F Austin Hotels,  and coveted items from brands such as Kendra Scott,  Noah Marion Quality Goods, Tecovas, and many more.

Proceeds will benefit Austin Film Festival’s Young Filmmakers Program (YFP), which aims to improve creativity, literacy, and communication skills through the arts of screenwriting and filmmaking. YFP collectively serves over 1,800 students, ages 9-18, in the Austin community annually through programs including Digital Storytelling, Arts Education Outreach, and Summer Film Camp. Programs are offered free through AISD schools and partner organizations, and YFP grants more than 300 students and teachers scholarships to attend the annual Austin Film Festival & Conference each year.

The 17th Annual Film & Food Fundraising Party will take place Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 7PM -10PM at the Driskill Hotel, located at 604 Brazos Street, Austin, TX 78701.
