Endeavor Real Estate Group announced today that Rock Rose, a vibrant component and street within Phase III at The Domain, will come to life this month. Rock Rose will be home to East Side King’s Thai-Kun, The Dogwood, Jack & Ginger’s, Tarka Indian Kitchen, Mia Tapas Bar, Two Hands Coffee, Saint Genevieve, and CorePower Yoga, all of which are slated to open this January.

“We are excited to reveal Rock Rose with the opening of our first tenants,” said Billy Osherow, Principal at Endeavor Real Estate Group. “We strived to create an eclectic mix of authentic and personality-driven restaurants and retailers on this street that will appeal to both Austin residents and visitors alike, and we truly believe that this vision is coming to life.”

Rock Rose will be one part of the new phase of The Domain and will feature curated retailers and restaurants, ranging from global heavy weights to buzzed-about locals. Additional restaurants and bars slated to open in early 2016 include: Birds Barbershop, Kung Fu Saloon, Lavaca St. Turf N’ Surf, Salvation Pizza, General Tso’Boy, and many more.

“We have never been a part of a development like this,” said Tinku Saini, Owner and CEO of Tarka Indian Kitchen, which opens this Friday, January 8. “While we definitely appreciated the proximity of so many office employees and residents, it was the local element of Rock Rose, its inclusion of homegrown businesses that really piqued our interest.”

In addition to a variety of diverse dining spots and nightlife destinations, Rock Rose Avenue will host high-caliber boutiques and salons that specialize in perfecting individual style, such as Birds Barbershop, Raven + Lily, Weathered Coalition, and will also feature Viva Day Spa, which was named “Best Spa in Austin” by both The Austin Chronicle andAustin Monthly Magazine.

Featuring an art-infused streetscape surrounded by unexpected discoveries, Rock Rose will offer the charm and energy of South Congress, East Austin, 2ND Street District, and West Sixth Street to North Austin with the added benefit of plentiful free parking.
