The Fall seasonal holidays should include festive and easy to make cocktails.  Caledonia Spirits mixologists have crafted three easy-to-make cocktails – each made with a different Barr Hill spirit: Barr Hill Gin, Tom Cat Gin and Barr Hill Vodka. These cocktails are just as good for upcoming holiday gatherings with family and friends as they are for cozy fall/winter nights in front of the fire.

Caledonia Spirits is known not only for its three super-premium spirits made with raw northern honey – including America’s Most Awarded Gin, Barr Hill Gin – but the Vermont-based distillery is also widely regarded for the world-class drink menu at its on-site craft cocktail bar in Montpelier.

Hive 75

Ingredients

1.5 Oz Barr Hill Gin

.5 Oz Lemon

.5 Oz Raw Honey Syrup

Top Dry Hard Cider

Directions

Shake ingredients together and pour into a champagne flute, Top With Sparkling Hard Cider and garnish with a lemon twist

As a play on the classic French 75, this recipe is great to batch into a punch bowl for a holiday gathering and feel free to add seasonal ingredients into the bowl such as cinnamon sticks and orange peels. You can even leave the hard cider out on the side and have guests top their own drink. Another fun trick is to freeze a tupperware full of water the night before and add it to the bowl to have one giant ice cube to keep the batched cocktail nice and cold.
