The distinctively American, incredibly versatile and unapologetically cheesiest dish in the world is coming back again this November, for the 2nd annual Austin Mac and Cheese Festival!

Whether you prefer eating it with your holiday dinner or all by itself, nearly everyone has a love affair with mac and cheese.  It’s been a childhood favorite for nearly every person on the planet and it only continues to grow in complexity and admiration throughout our lives.  Mac & Cheese is the reigning heavyweight champion of savory indulgence – and we’re celebrating it’s cheesy beauty just in time for Thanksgiving with our 2nd festival this November.

Join us on November 19th as we launch the 2nd year of Austin Food Magazine’s Austin Mac & Cheese Festival, where you’ll see some of Austin’s best chefs and eateries battle it out to see who truly has the best mac & cheese in the city.  Attendees will have the chance to vote on their favorite selections in the ultimate Mac & Cheese showdown!

Tickets prices and packages will be announced in August, but this year’s festival will be hosted at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts located in north Austin, which will provide a ample space for attendees and vendors along with access to kitchen demos, live music and a selection of more than 30 vendor booths.

Additional details of the festival will be announced in the weeks ahead, but attendees can expect several different ticket options, including a Mac & Cheese Wine Dinner, and a Mac & Cheese Brunch event in the days before the Grand Tasting.  There will also be a VIP ticket package with exclusive access to a reserved area offering unlimited cocktails and additional mac and cheese offerings.

Stay tuned for more announcements and details coming in August.
