Central Standard features New Bar Menu Items by Chef Casey Wilcox

Executive Chef Casey Wilcox introduces a fully reinvigorated bar menu at Central Standard located at South Congress Hotel.  A tribute to America’s culinary roots, Chef Wilcox’s new menu at Central Standard is full of nostalgia for the classics.  

 

The restaurant will now be open for bar service starting at 3 p.m.  Monday – Friday, with happy hour from 3 – 6:30 p.m. in the bar and on the patio.  The new bar menu, can be enjoyed with a cocktail and highlights new items like the Cheeseburger Egg Rolls ($7), Fried Bologna Sandwich ($10) and Wild Boar Meatballs ($9).  Also enjoy some of his other delicious new menu items for dinner.  Highlights include Steakhouse Bacon ($10),  Chicken Kiev ($28), Seafood Cocktail Salad ($16), Salt Potatoes ($6).  

 

 

Executive Pastry Chef Amanda Rockman has refreshed Central Standard’s pastry program, which now features throwback cakes and tartes, including pineapple upside down cake and devil’s food cake.  At the bar, the beverage program will feature new large-format cocktails, including an aperol spritz, fernet & coke, and pimm’s cup to share.
