Prohibition Creamery (1407 E. 7TH Street), an artisanal and all- natural alcoholic ice cream shop that combines two favorite indulgences – alcohol and ice cream – into handcrafted ice creams with attitude, is pleased to announce the opening of its first location this spring in Austin, Texas. To further elevate the experience, Prohibition Creamery also serves craft cocktails, beer and wine.

Founded by Laura Aidan, Prohibition Creamery’s artisanal and all- natural ice creams are created entirely from scratch in-house, by hand, utilizing old-fashioned methods to maximize deliciousness. It is a labor-intensive process, but allows control of the source and quality of each ingredient, enabling Laura to get really creative with flavors!

Prohibition Creamery will offer boozy and classic ice creams, sorbets, shakes and floats, plus a few surprises. Imagine your favorite liquor turned into delicious frozen treats, with boozy flavors like bananas foster, whiskey chocolate, tiramisu, and lime sake sorbet. Flavors will change frequently and according to what’s in season. Prohibition Creamery will always feature vegan, dairy-free, and classic (non-boozy) options.

Daily and weekly specials will be shared online at prohibitioncreamery.com or via Twitter @boozyicecream, #prohibitioncreamery. A secret boozy flavor of the month will always be featured that will be revealed via a secret “Easter egg” on prohibitioncreamery.com
