Twin Liquors, is pleased to return with continued support as a sponsor for the 87th annual St. Elias Mediterranean Festival (Medfest) on Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28th at St. Elias Orthodox Church. The Jabour family, who owns and operates Twin Liquors, has been involved in the community event since its inception. The Twin Liquors team is fully committed to supporting the local communities in which they serve and will offer admission tickets at all of their Austin-area stores in exchange for a $5 donation.
Medfest, the longest running annual festival in Central Texas, celebrates Mediterranean cuisine and culture with a variety of Mediterranean food, an Arabic shopping bazaar and live music, from special guest and Lebanese singer, Danny Achkar.
Events will take place on the grounds of St. Elias Orthodox Church, on East 11th Street between Red River and Trinity, just east of the Texas State Capitol. The festival will run Friday, September 27th from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, September 28th from noon until 11 p.m. Admission Tickets are available in advance for a $5 donation at all Austin-Area Twin Liquors locations or can be purchased at festival entry gates. Admission will be free from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday to encourage family participation.
