In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Month, Tso Chinese Delivery is collaborating with Bom Bakeshop and Jjim – Korean Braised BBQ during the month of May to support the local AAPI community. Proceeds from these special dishes will benefit #TsoGiving, an organization with the mission to provide meal assistance to those facing hunger in the city of Austin, founded and operated by Tso Chinese Delivery, which has given over 22,000 meals in the past year.

“As Asian-American business owners, we believe it’s important to boost up other AAPI members of our community however we can,” said Eunice Tsang, Tso co-founder and director of #TsoGiving. “Both Bom Bakeshop and Jjim are new businesses that have opened over the past year during the pandemic, and we think it’s important to use our platform to spread the word about these amazing businesses, especially during AAPI Month.”

Beef Short Rib Rangoons

The collab dish from Jjim, which recently opened in South Austin, is a Braised Short Rib Rangoon, featuring Jjim’s signature braised beef short rib (or “”galbi jjim”) which is slow-cooked in a sweet, soy-based sauce. The short rib is stuffed into a wonton with Tso’s famous crab rangoon stuffing, then fried until crispy, making for a perfect appetizer for a meal from Tso. Bom Bakeshop, known for their light yet chewy mochi donuts, will be making a Mandarin Orange Mochi Donut topped with red sanding sugar, which is gluten and dairy free. This flavor, which is brand new and was created just for Tso, will be paired in a two-pack with a Chocolate Glazed Mochi Donut with Rainbow Sprinkles. and will be sold in two-packs for $9 with $2 from each box going to #TsoGiving. The donuts will be available daily, for order via tsodelivery.com/ until sold out, with very limited quantities available. Orders will be fulfilled from both Tso’s Cherrywood and Arboretum locations, with a delivery minimum of $20. There is no minimum for those who prefer to pick up their order.
