National Tequila Day is on Tuesday, July 24th and two unique Austin brands, Playa Real Tequila and Bougie’s Donuts, are collaborating to create three special tequila-infused donuts that will be available for sale at Bougie’s for one day only.

- Cherry Limeade Donut – Cherry cake donut with tequila glaze (Playa Real Silver Tequila, lime sparkling water, cherry juice and powdered sugar). Topped with fresh lime zest, lime slice and cherry.
- Pineapple Upside Down Cake Donut – Cake donut with brown sugar butter pineapple topping made with Playa Real Pineapple Tequila and real pineapple.
- Mandarin Orange Cake Donut – Orange cake donut with cream cheese icing infused with Playa Real Mandarin Tequila. Topped with fresh orange zest, orange sugar and a slice of orange.
To further celebrate the holiday, Playa Real will host a tequila sampling at Bougie’s Sunset Valley shop from 11am to 1pm on 7/24 where guests can try Playa’s Premium Silver Tequila as well as their two fruit-infused options in Pineapple and Mandarin.
