Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, one of the country’s premier steakhouses, is delighted to announce the opening of its second Austin location at Domain NORTHSIDE. As Perry’s celebrates ten years in Downtown Austin, the brand prepares to bring its tableside carvings, USDA Prime steaks, carefully curated wine selection and refreshing cocktails to 11801 Domain Blvd. in early 2019.

A SPACE FIT FOR ANY OCCASION
The new 10,000+ square-foot Domain NORTHSIDE space will feature new design elements, providing a view of every angle of the main dining room including a glance at chef creations in the kitchen. Layers of interest will be added by glass, lighting and other distinctive textures creating a bright, inviting environment for guests.
The restaurant will feature an elegant, yet comfortable setting for any occasion from intimate dinners and small gatherings to business meetings and large-scale celebrations. The restaurant, which can accommodate up to 350 people, includes an expansive main dining room and four private dining spaces. Perry’s lively Bar 79, named for the year Perry’s was founded, will feature a towering wine wall, a large island bar and will open to an outdoor patio that will seat more than 50 guests.

Perry’s award-winning menu, impeccable service and vibrantly elegant, yet comfortable atmosphere creates an experience for guests that is Rare and Well Done®. The Domain NORTHSIDE menu will offer signature elements including butcher-fresh USDA Aged Prime Beef, signature tableside carvings and flamed desserts, and its famous, seven-finger high pork chop. Bar 79 will offer handcrafted bar bites, fine wine, cocktails, craft beer, and Social Hour weekdays from 4-7 p.m. and Sundays from 4-9 p.m., which will include specially-priced wine, cocktails and appetizers such as the Perry’s Famous Pork Chop Bites and Beef Tenderloin Sliders.

New Orleans, LA - On October 22, 2024, I recently had an opportunity to attend the grand opening of Caesars New Orleans, marking the completion of a stunning $435 million transformation of the former Harrah’s New Orleans. It was an evening to remember, filled with excitement, luxury, and the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. The festivities began on Canal Street with an exhilarating ceremony led by Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg, President & COO Anthony Carano, and Caesars New Orleans General Manager Samir Mowad. The atmosphere was electric as they joined Caesar himself and an iconic New Orleans second-line band in a lively procession into the casino. It felt like the entire city had come out to celebrate, with Caesars New Orleans team members and Mayor LaToya Cantrell also joining the event to commemorate this historic occasion. Anthony Carano’s pride in introducing Caesars to New Orleans was palpable. “From local favorite Emeril Lagasse to our long-time partner, Chef Nobu, to the beautiful state-of-the-art Caesars Sportsbook, all-new rooms and gaming floor, and of course, our gorgeous new center bar, Octavia, Caesars New Orleans offers something for everyone. It’s a world-class resort in the heart of the Big Easy, and we can’t wait for our guests to experience it,” he said. The ceremony was a spectacle, kicking off with an iconic Mardi Gras float featuring Caesar and his court, and a dazzling firework show that lit up the New Orleans sky. The second-line band then led us revelers into the resort’s elegant center bar, Octavia, where we indulged in a “Taste of Caesars New Orleans.” Each bite from the six on-property restaurants was a delightful journey, capturing the essence of New Orleans’ rich culinary scene. Throughout the night, elemental entertainers, including the Saints Cheer Krewe, Mardi Gras Indians, Zulu Tramps, and showgirls, created an authentic and unforgettable Big Easy experience. Everywhere I turned, there was something new to marvel at, each performance more mesmerizing than the last.
