The Parkside Projects Beverage Series is a year-long series that educates attendees about trends in spirits and cocktails.  This summer, the Project will hold two summer classes, focusing on gin and rum.

The first summer class will be held on Monday, June 5 on Bullfight’s patio and will include Advanced Sommelier Nathan Prater’s discussion of gin, the history of gin and its resurgence on the cocktail scene. Guests will be able to sip on the gin-based cocktails they’ve created and munch on the tapas that will also be provided.

The class on rum will be the final class of the summer and will be held on Monday, August 14 on the 2nd floor of Parkside.  Parkside Projects will provide hors d’oeuvres as guests learn about the different styles of rum as well as their histories. The tickets for this class will go on sale on Wednesday, July 26.
