Bar Peached
Hestia
The team at Hestia has returned to dining room service with enhanced safety guidelines, introducing a new service model to include a pre-set tasting menu. All dining choices will be predetermined before entering the restaurant online. Menu items include Mangalitsa Pork Belly, Wild Onion Pizelle, Grilled Crab, Dry Aged NY Steak, Buttermilk Panna Cotta and more. Additionally, guests will be able to the patio at Kalimotxo including the new back patio overlooking downtown Shoal Creek and the Austin Public Library. At Kalimotxo, cocktails and small bites are available including Oysters, Basque Cheesecake, and Blistered Shisito Peppers. Full menus can be found online. Emmer & Rye
Coming off recent big news of a James Beard nomination for Best Chef Texas for Chef Kevin Fink and Chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph being named Food & Wine Best New Chef 2020, the team is thrilled to welcome guests back. All servers, cooks, and staff will be wearing masks, hand sanitizer is readily available, menus are single-use and no cash is accepted. Guests are able to partake in a $60 set menu from Emmer & Rye. In addition to the meal, guests can text their drink orders and partake in contactless payment. There are only 18 tables per night, and reservations can be made via Opentable.
Kalimotxo
Kalimotxo has reopened to provide guests with a vibrant and energetic vibe with the stand-up bar and outdoor patio. Enjoy pintxos and small bites adorning the bar top, creative cocktails and wine porrons. The menu includes plates of Jamon Iberico, assorted seafood conservas, and Basque burnt cheesecake. Both North Italia restaurants are now open for Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner services at the Domain and 2nd Street locations.
Galaxy Cafe
Galaxy Cafe, locally owned classic since 2004 has recently reopened to allow indoor dining. All three locations (West Lynn, Mesa Drive, and Brodie Lane) are open from 11-8pm for dine-in or curbside pick-up. Saturday and Sunday breakfast begins at 8:00am.
El Naranjo
Patika
Patika is now open daily from 8am-2pm, offering a streamlined menu of coffee and pastries, as well as some pantry items that customers can order in person or online at patikacoffee.com. All orders will be picked up at the front door. The coffee shop has several policies and process changes to keep everyone safe. Customers can also order coffee beans through Patika’s roasting company, Superthing, with subscription and delivery options available at superthingcoffee.com.
Scholz Garten
Scholz Garten is now open for dine-in service in the outdoor Bier Garten and the dining room along with curbside pick-up. Dine-in service includes a menu of popular items including Scholz’s famous sausage and features a modern-day twist on traditional German dishes in addition to salads, sandwiches, and specialties. A wide selection of imported German beers, local draft beers, and specialty cocktails are offered as well. PINSTACK the premier entertainment and dining destination that initially opened in February 2020, has officially reopened after temporarily closing its doors due to COVID-19. Currently, guests can visit and safely enjoy delicious food and beverage at the restaurant along with attractions like the state-of-the-art bowling alley, bumper cars, laser tag arena, LED-lit rock-climbing wall and expansive game room with the latest video games and arcade classics. PINSTACK Austin’s adjusted hours are now Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight.
