Kerbey Lane Cafe opened doors for business in 1980, operating out of a small house on Kerbey Lane in north central Austin. Owners, Patricia and David Ayer sought to serve good, homemade quality food that is local, healthy and affordable, while providing a welcoming and memorable experience to all. This commitment stands true today at all seven of Kerbey Lane Cafe’s locations throughout Austin under the leadership of their son CEO Mason Ayer.

A supporter of UWATX’s annual employee giving campaign since 2013, Kerbey Lane Cafe is furthering their community support by donating all net profits earned on their birthday to the organization. UWATX runs programs in the Greater Austin community that focus on improving early childhood education, keeping middle students on the path to graduation, and providing low-income individuals and families with financial tools. UWATX staff will also be onsite at the South Lamar location to share more about their community involvement, as well as to assist in this fun one-day event.
