Formerly known as Untapped Festival, Index Fest is carrying on in the previous incarnation’s tradition of bringing patrons a variety of delicious beers from amazing breweries from Texas and around the country. This stellar celebration of craft beer, music, food, and art in Austin will kick off the festival series, which will also include events in Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio later this year.

Among the 75 breweries offering a range of beers for Index Fest in Austin are many outstanding spots from Austin, such as Austin Beerworks, Austin Eastciders, Blue Owl, Hops & Grain, Jester King, and Live Oak. Some of the Texas brewery highlights include Big Bend, Community, Freetail, Karbach, Lakewood, Lone Pint, Rahr and Sons, and Saint Arnold. National breweries like Bell’s, Brooklyn, Deschutes, Founders, New Belgium, Odell, Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada, Stone, and SweetWater will bring some of their beloved brews.

Another amazing component of Index Fest is the music, and the series kick-off date in Austin features a great lineup of music performances. Index Fest is excited to welcome Local Natives as the event headliners, along with electro duo and producers Frenship, Swedish alt-rock quintet Grizfolk, Austin “party folk” group Calliope Musicals, and DJ Mark Markus.
