Fundamental Knife Skills at Cook Like An Italian with Rachel Zierzow
Become comfortable and skilled with the most important cooking tool, the chef knife! Good knife skills makes cooking more fun and efficient. Refine basic knife skills and practice the fundamental cuts for vegetables—mince, dice, half moons, matchsticks, chiffonade, and more. Learn how to select a knife that is right for you, and tips for keeping your knives sharp.
Enjoy a delicious bowl of Minestrone Milanese (Classic Italian Vegetable Soup) made with the vegetables you prepare. Knife and apron will be supplied to use during class, but feel free to bring your own knife if you’d like to learn how to use it.
Class will be held at the beautiful Cook Like An Italian kitchen in East Austin. Address will be provided upon registration.
