Eureka!, coming soon to Downtown Austin on Monday, June 25th, will open with weekend brunch. The all-American dining destination will offer brunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Guests will enjoy contemporary classic breakfast entrées, Bloody Marys and Mimosas, and selection of more than 40 local craft beers.

 

The brunch menu will feature new breakfast offerings including Huevos Rancheros with bison steak chili, fried eggs, ranchero sauce, black beans, Jack and cheddar cheese, avocado, and sour cream; Creole Benedict featuring fried green tomato, Virginia ham, Creole mustard hollandaise, breakfast potatoes; Brunch Ham & Cheese topped with a fried egg, served with Jack cheese, Virginia ham, Alfredo sauce, and Texas toast. Also featured will be signature favorites like the Jalapeño Egg Burger with a fried egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, spicy chipotle sauce, jalapeños; and the All Day Breakfast Burrito served with flat iron steak, potatoes, fried egg, and ranchero sauce. Additionally, Eureka! offers delectable brunch entrées including Bananas Foster Crunchy French Toast topped with pecans, spiced rum syrup, and housemade whipped cream as Orange Pecan Granola with Greek yogurt, mixed berries, and honey. To compliment these mouthwatering brunch and menu options, Eureka! will serve Mimosas and Bloody Marys on the weekends for $5 and an extensive craft beer and cocktail selection. Highlights include Real Ale’s Hans Pils, Hops & Grain’s The One They Call Zoe, Cedar Creek’s Dankosaurus IPA, Lone Pint’s Yellow Rose IPA, and Karbach Brewing’s Rodeo Clown Double IPA.

Each dish is thoughtfully prepared to showcase quality ingredients, locally sourced when possible. The restaurant specializes in American classics with a modern twist with its diverse selection of appetizers and signature plates which includes all-natural, Angus chuck burgers, innovative salads and delectable desserts. Menu highlights include the Golden Ale Mussels featuring jalapeño bacon stock, crispy pancetta, and golden ale; the Cowboy Burger with shoestring onion rings, bacon, cheddar, housemade beer bbq sauce; a Slow-Roasted Beet Salad with toasted walnuts, apple, arugula, orange sections and watermelon pop rocks; and the Butterscotch Rum Pudding featuring housemade whipped cream, caramel sauce, and sprinkled sea salt.

 

The beverage program at Eureka! revolves around the restaurant’s commitment to serving all American, small-batch whiskeys, and specialty cocktails, curated by small and locally owned artisans ensuring a premium product that is highly sought after.  Signature cocktails include classic recipes like the house Old Fashioned, made the way your grand pappy drank it with Old Overholt Rye Whiskey, bitters, fresh orange zest and a block of ice; and the Penicillin with an American smoked whiskey, fresh ginger, hand squeezed lemon juice, and clover honey. Contemporary creations like the Moscow Mule featuring Texas’ Dripping Springs vodka, housemade ginger lime syrup, and citrus; and Rosemary’s Ruby Red with gin, rosemary, grapefruit, and citrus offer guests modern cocktails with quality ingredients.

 

Located in a 140-year-old building, the design of Eureka! expresses historic yet rustic aesthetics and industrial influences. The 5,000 square foot restaurant seats 200 guests in a dining room comprised of eclectic seating options including extra large booths, high top tables, community tables, and the restaurant’s center piece, a stand-alone wrap-around copper bar. Eureka! incorporates tables and paneling handcrafted from hardwoods retrieved from historic American barns, factories, and whiskey distilleries. And of course there is a stage for live music performances.
