Austin Skeeball League Kicks Off Twelfth Season at Lavaca Street Bar

Weekly tournaments are friendly, competitive and fun

WHAT:                                 Austin Skeeball League invites Austinites to become a member as they celebrate the twelfth season at Lavaca Street Bar.  With tournaments on Sundays and Wednesdays, teams of three compete every hour for $10 a week.  Participants are encouraged to join as a team or solo, where Austin Skeeball League will place members with a group.

Established in 2009, Austin Skeeball League was born over a six pack (or ten) and an overly competitive group of people who were too good for Dave and Busters, and tired of getting kicked out of Chucky Cheese for hogging the machines from the kids. Austin Skeeball league invites all Austinites to join the tournaments on Sunday or Wednesday – or both!

Lavaca Street Bar

Lavaca Street Bar has been located in the heart of down town Austin for over 20 years. A locally owned sports bar, Lavaca Street is the home of Houston Texans Official Fan group along with hosting Austin Skeeball League, Austin’s Ping Pong League “Pong Rock”, and Wisconsin Badgers Fan Group. Lavaca Street is proud to offer fresh and delicious fare from Turf N Surf, which is housed in the back of the bar.

                  Members are eligible to join until September 21, 2013
