Chef Amir Hajimaleki of District Kitchen + Bar, is paying homage to his Persian roots with a one-night-only kabob pop-up event at Eden East Farm on Thursday, October 25.  This ticketed family-style Persian dinner promises a first taste of the Iranian chef’s forthcoming concept, Roya, meaning “dream.” Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Austin Food & Wine Alliance’s Culinary Grant Program.

Chef Hajimaleki will grill and serve a variety of kabobs including koobideh using locally-sourced meat from Capra Lamb.  The family-style dinner will also feature dishes made with grilled vegetables sourced from Eden East Farm and a Persian dessert served with cardamom tea. William Chris Vineyards will provide a selection of red and white wines along with a Petillant Naturel toast to kick off the evening.

The event takes place at Eden East Farm on Thursday, October 25 from 6-9 p.m.  Tickets are $100 while quantities last online.
