The spacious dining setting provides guests the opportunity to enjoy a six-course tasing menu experience including a vegan option. Chef Anthony Gonçalves, whose family originally hails from Portugal, delivers the only Portuguese fine dining experience in New York where his use of pristine ingredients, his immaculate technique, and abundant creativity change daily and seasonally in the locally sourced menu offerings. Chef Gonçalves proudly offers dishes that nod to his Portuguese heritage and Hudson Valley surroundings. He is fueled by his connections to Portugal, to its history, artisans, and people.

Contemporary flavors meet simple farm-fresh ingredients that are brilliantly unearthed for a sophisticated meal like no other. Guests can enjoy house focaccia served with Cantabrian anchovies, whipped cow’s milk cheese, roasted garlic, bare olive oil; Hamachi with red and green Iberian seaweed and heirloom tomato; Tortellini with carne alentejana, potato, pickles, manila and surf clams; Grass-fed rib eye with pommes puree and scallions. The Restaurant at Kanopi is also home to the largest selection of Portuguese wines in the United States which can be expertly paired with the six-course tasting menu.
