Walton’s Fancy and Staple is celebrating the holidays with its first ever Take-Home Holiday Tamale Day.


Eating tamales with friends and family during the holidays is a tradition that for some has spanned generations. Executive Chef Andrea Juarez will bring three types of tamales will be featured: green chile chicken; pork chile Colorado; and refried bean, queso fresco and jalapeño; which will be available to order through Walton’s until December 16. Specialty sauces vegan salsa verde with zucchini and extra hot salsa roja with freshly diced onion and cilantro will be offered.


Tamale pick-up day is one day only, Monday, December 23 by 3pm, just in time to spread a little cheer. Call (512) 542-3380 to place your order.
